"The mists rolled through the town and covered the rooftops. Cy could only see the clear night sky and the stars above. She closed her eyes and let the desert's night breeze flow through her. She began to hum a tune that was now only a distant memory. Quietly at first, she sorted words to the melody. The words began pouring back to her, and she let her voice ring across the rooftops in the otherwise quiet village."

This is Cy (Cyren), a new character of mine. It started out as a random drawing to put on my new site layout, but I ended up building up a whole story around Cy. The title of the piece, 'Cyren Song', is a play on the phrase "siren song" which means "an appeal that is hard to resist, but if not resisted, will bring negative results." Poor Cy doesn't know what I have in store for her.

I always love how you're able to have such smooth patterns

Like the pink and green scheme you got rolled out here, it blends well and I have gotta say that I love Sirens even if they arent the ones that look like mermaids~!
